I love to work with people to develop new works or make adjustments to plays I’ve already written.
This can happen in a number of ways, but one guiding principle is this: If you don’t like what we come up with, you don’t pay anything for it!

Essentially, any collaboration begins with you simply reaching out to me via email: haehnela@gmail.com.
Then we start sharing and figuring out what form the journey will take. I’m also happy to communicate with casts via Zoom or whatever other platform works for you. I’ve occasionally done school visits as well.

One new concept is called AYUP (As Yet Unpublished). You can find these plays and scenes right here on this website. If any of them look like something you can use, just send the magic email–haehnela@gmail.com– and we can negotiate the terms.

AYUP pieces are also great starting points for collaborations. If some aspect of a work is intriguing, but other aspects keep it from being usable, let me know and we’ll try to figure out a solution.
